A-K Valley FCU was established May 10, 1935, as the Aluminum Research Employees Federal Credit Union, serving Alcoa employees in New Kensington, PA. Originally, the credit union offered employees of Alcoa and their families a safe place to save and borrow. Over the years, service has expanded to where we are now - a full-service financial institution offering a host of products and services.
We are pleased to announce that the members of A-K Valley Federal Credit Union approved a merger with Clearview Federal Credit Union on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. The effective date of the merger will be August 01, 2010. We are very excited for this partnership and we know it will have a very positive impact for both the members and employees of A-K Valley FCU. We look forward to this new beginning with Clearview FCU and hope you do as well!
