A Sudden Death, A Difficult Adjustment:

How "The Facts of Your Life" Would Have Helped

"My father-in-law, Sam died last year," says Brent.  "He was a really smart man, but record-keeping was not his strong suit, and his wife was not the type to ask about investments, plans and insurance.

"As a result, after his death my wife and I spent over three days organizing his financial records.  Her mother helped some, but the death was sudden and she was grieving.  So we dug through closets, file cabinets and boxes and made many phone calls.  It was month before we felt confident we'd found everything."

It turned out that Sam actually did a good job protecting his family.  He had adequate life insurance and made sound investments.  Unfortunately, he hadn't kept a good system showing the details.

"The Fact's of Your Life" Would Have Helped!  Lincoln Benefit Life's "The Facts of Your Life" booklet would have been enormously helpful to Sam's family.  This handy 32-page booklet allows an individual or family to record important information, such as contact names, credit card numbers, insurance policies, military records and personal documents.  It also contains a comprehensive survivor's guide which provides tips on planning funeral and memorial services and coping after the loss.   CLICK HERE to download and print your copy of "The Facts of Your Life"
